Tinnitus Cures-Fact or Fiction?
Tinnitus Cures-Fact or Fiction?
As somebody who has experimented with all of the tinnitus cures on the market, I have ridden that emo
tional roller coaster more times than I can count. Maybe you can relate? I’ll try a new “cure” that I’ve learned about in a forum and I’ll begin to see a slight improvement. I’ll start getting excited and begin to think, “This is it!” only to have my hopes come crashing down a short time later. If this has ever happened to you then stay with me. I’m writing this article merely to share some positive insights which I’ve had along the way.
“Of all the Tinnitus Cures I’ve tried, Tinnitus Miracle has helped me the most!”
The most profound insight that I’ve had is that there is no “cure” for tinnitus(at least yet) just like there isn’t a cure for obesity. As far as I know, there is no pill, shot, or herb that you can swallow and magically drop 60 lbs. However, much like tinnitus(my opinion influenced by my experiences), there are both steps that people can take to prevent obesity as well as steps that obese people can take to become fit and vibrant again. Imagine somebody that is carrying an extra 100 pounds. What would you say if they told you that they joined the gym for a week, but it didn’t work because they only lost 2 pounds. I suspect it is the same way with many different tinnitus sufferers. They may try something which was recommended to them for a while, but lose faith and write it off as not working. At least that is what I did for years before I became emotionally tough enough to make a decision and commit to trying something until it worked. Do you notice the difference between the mindset of trying something to see if it works compared with trying something until it works?
Another realization that I had was that my beliefs about tinnitus were truly limiting my results. If someone had tried to tell me that a several years ago, I would have dismissed it as some kind of fairy tale hocus-pocus and gone on my merry way. However, if you think about it, there is the general consensus that there is no cure for tinnitus and that you need to learn to live with it, etc. This is backed up by all kinds of doctors, associations, medical groups, and everything. Everyone just accepts it. If someone even tries to go against this grain and proclaims that they succeeded in getting rid of their tinnitus, they are usually met with violent opposition. This same cycle continues to repeat itself just as it did when someone declared that the earth wasn’t the center of the universe or that it wasn’t flat. Take it from me, if you are only able to change the thought pattern in your head from “there are no tinnitus cures” to what if some of these people actually did have success,” you’ll will make a giant leap forward. That tiny shift can make all of the difference! I can’t stress this part enough! The difference between hot water and boiling water is only 1 degree. The difference between succeeding and becoming another statistic is so slight, that most people don’t believe this small shift could do it.
To bring this rant to a close, before you go to bed tonight, figure out exactly what your beliefs regarding your tinnitus are and decide if they are helping you or hurting you. As simple as this sounds and as easy as it is to not do it, make yourself do it. This was the turning point in my tinnitus journey and I’m sure it can be yours, too. I want to mention that my tinnitus isn’t completely gone, but it has been drastically reduced in both how often it occurs(it used to be constant)as well as how loud it is. I’m confident that one day it will be completely gone, it is only a matter of time.
I almost forgot. Of all the tinnitus cures I’ve tried, from putting olive oil in my ears to using sound machines, what has worked best for me is the advice I got from the book Tinnitus Miracle. It may not work for everyone or even you, but it has helped me greatly and continues to work for me. You can check out my Tinnitus Miracle review for more info. I hope this article helped you and until next time, be well.
